No! He was very agressive and finally the sun came out and made him happy again but he was not happy for most of the day! Can't believe they can get that big huh! Besides, I learned my lesson when we were visiting Renee in Califonia and the sign said not to pet the birds that you get to feed out of these little cups and I did it anyway and it bit me really hard! It made me cry.....I didn't try to rescue this one. My boys have been able to touch the hummingbirds though..... :) I wonder where they get that from....oh the memories of catching birds in the old chicken coop.....
Hummingbirds can actually be very very agressive. I would never have guessed it was a hummingbird. Tobi Jr got attacked by a hummingbird once. It is actually a really funny story. They are also very territorial. A lot of sass coming from something so small:-)
I totally forgot about the birds at the San Diego Zoo. Too funny!!!
NO WAY!!! Did you rescue it and make it happy again? I would have... I think. :o) I hope things are going well for it and you!
